How lucky am I?.
When I last took you through this closet, I told you I’d be back in a few months to work on it a bit more.I know myself well.. Now, I’ve finally got it finished.
Well, here’s an update anyway.. Do you even remember her closet?It was a looong time ago.It looks like this:.
And the bottom half used to look like this:.After we replaced the original baseboards, painted them up, and peeled back the tape, we were left with a bit of a mess.. I’d been looking for a little rug to put down in there after I finished with.

, but hadn’t really found anything..That took about 10 minutes.
The paint dried so quickly and so smoothly and really made this a true “nap time project”.. After that I grabbed some painter’s tape and taped off some wide stripes.I just eye-balled it, which made Chris nervous, but obviously it turned out to be pretty fabulous.
So that means I was right and he was wrong if you’re keeping score.Dancing Santa was on hand for entertainment in case Jack woke up early from his nap.
